Helping The Earth!

This week, our Yellow Stars focused on helping the Earth by learning how to recycle the right way! We talked about what belongs in recycling, compost, trash and some of the other collection areas we use at Service Stars and at home.

We put our learning into action by creating and decorating new signs for our Service Stars recycling center, including signs for recycling, trash, compost, plastic film and art supplies.  Enjoy some pictures below!

Next week, we’ll be starting our Happy Mail project with Newton at Home! We’ll learn how a simple handwritten note can help brighten someone’s day and build connections within our community.
